Desktop Disappeared

Hi,

On my boss's WinXP Pro PC, all of a sudden all the icons, the task bar and
the Start menu disappeared. So, whenever he logs in to his PC, all he sees
is the Windows wallpaper. The only way he could open up a program, is by
going to Task Manager and opening a new task from there. Is his PC infected?
How could I restore his desktop?

Hi,

This generally has to do with display drivers (updates, etc). Either try a
roll-back or run line 164:
