Desktop and icons do not load

Has anyone seen this problem? PC boots up normally, user
appears to login normally (Novell Client 4.9) but the
desktop, taskbar, and icon never load. If you select
start, shutdown, LOG OFF -- then log in again, the
problem does NOT reoccur.

However, if you select start->shutdown and you poweroff
or restart, the problem usually DOES reoccur. It can be
an intermittent issue.

PS - Applying SP1 for Novell Client 4.9 doesn't always
correct the issue.
