Deploy alternate application to remote site

Hi, We have a fat database client that runs localy and is
deployed thru AD based on a user group. As we update our
remote DSL sites to XP we want them use the application
via Citrix. We have developed and packaged a .ICA file
wich will run the application but we don't know how to
stop the fat client from deploying as well when the users
roam between sites.

You can filter the application of GPO's trough security groups, so you can
exclude those users from getting the application trough GPO. Create a
special group in AD and give that group Read + Apply policy right on that
GPO + remove authenticated users from the list. This will make the policy to
be applied only to selected users.
