Demote DC error

Im running the DCPROMO over one of my DC but when is trying to reach the DC
(That has all roles) it's showing and error saying "The RPC server is
unavailable", any ideas?

RPC Unavailable is a DNS error.

Run netdiag /test:dns on both DCs and post any errors here.

Or,

Ensure that both DCs are pointing to an internal DNS server that is
authorative for the AD namespace and is set to allow automatic updates; the
DCs have the DHCP client service running and then restart netlogon.

Are you seeing any replication errors, or anything nasty in the event logs?

Does nltest /dsgetdc:domain-name.com succeed or fail?
