Dell Preinstall Windows Refund

Just read this news article about Dell funding a bloke the cost of the preinstalled Windows fee due to him declining the terms of service on first bootup due to him installing Linux instead.

Most, not all, Software ULA states ... if you do not agree to the Licence then you are entitled to a refund ... I've have used this "argument" at PCWorld & Tesco and won.

Your mileage may vary and you may find that you need to contact the Software company direct for a refund, such as MS.
