** Dell dual monitors won't allow viewing alert boxes

I have been using MS AnitSpyware since it was released. I
have been testing it on my server, desktop and laptop,
all of which are Dells. The server and the laptop have no
problem with the pop up alerts. However, on the desktop,
running dual monitors, you can NEVER see the popup
alerts. They scroll from bottom to top so fast you really
can not even catch them with your mouse. In Win2K, you
saw them scroll by and that was the end of them. However,
since rebuilding the desktop with XP, they scroll from
bottom to top as well but if you hit your alt/tab
combination every alert is listed there as well as the MS-
AS program. BUT you can not alt/tab to any of them and
have them pop up for you. There is NO way to get to the
alerts and thus they do not close so you end up with a
lot of alert windows in your alt/tab window but nothing
can be selected nor can you access them from Task
Manager. I would consider this a MAJOR flaw with the
program in a dual screen environment. Any recommendations
or suggestions?
TIA,
GAB

The task bar is on the left monitor, on the side hidden
so it rises from left to right and this is the same
window that the alerts fly from bottom to top. Forgot to
mention this box is a Dell Optiplex GX260 using Dells
UltraSharp 20" monitors, NVIDIA Quadro4 980 XGL, running
XP-Pro, SPK2.

This is common and known issue in MSAS that alerts fly off the screen when
taskbar is vertically, not horizontally - MSAS Team knows about it and it
should be repaired in next MSAS version (I think).

You have to put the taskbar at the bottom or top to stop the alerts, then
move it back when done.
