Ditto!

With close to 600 employees, its got to be real costly for
our organization. I've been trying to find out the answer
for several months. I can't get rid of the little buggers
either through the network or even PC by PC. Any time I
ask someone, they snicker and tell me they don't know. If
you find out, let me know. PLEEZE!!!

Hi,

Realistically this is a personnel issue, rather than an IT one. Whilst
it should be possible to remove games from Windows 2000, I doubt
there's not much you could do to stop people bringing in games on CD
or floppy disk. Locking down those PCs against all games (be they from
the Internet, floppy, cd etc) would probably create more issues with
genuine applications not working properly.

Kris,

If you have identical Windows 2000 computers you can
create a Windows 2000 image using Symantec Ghost and
broadcast the image to all the identical computers. You
can also setup group policy which does not allow users to
install software without appropriate rights.
