Deleting .tmp files

Can anyone tell me how I can automatically or manually
delete .tmp files from My Documents? I use MS Word, and
you get more and more .tmp files! Makes me nuts. Tons of
files like ~WRL0400.tmp etc etc. I've tried to Search them
and then delete them all, and it worked *once; then my
Search function wouldn't recognize them again (talk about
weird...) If you wouldn't mind emailing me your response,
I don't think I'll ever find this page again:
(e-mail address removed). Thanks!

Try using disk cleanup. to do this:
1. Open My Computer or Windows Explorer.
2. Select the hard drive you wish to clean up and click "Properties"
3. The Disk Cleanup button is located on the general tab.
To have Disk Cleanup run automatically, you can use the Task sceduler. To
set it up, you must first specify wich files you wish Disk Cleanup to clean
automatically.
Type: cleanmgr.exe sageset: 99
Once you have made your selections, exit.
Now you can set up an automated disk cleanup by typing the following
string: cleanmgr.exe sagerun: 99
You can scedule an automated disk cleanup through the task sceduler using
the same syntax.
