Deleting text

XP & PowerPoint 2003. I have a limited amount of knowledge with PP but when
I get a PP slide show I know how to add, delete, or change music that is
emedded, change display time of slides,add background color etc. I just got
a show with music but there is text on each slide that appears slowly and I
feel detracts from the beautiful photos. Can this text be deleted and if so,
please describe how in detail. TIA Stan

Is the text part of the photos? Or does it animate individually (not as part
of the photos)?

Stan,
Is it the same text on every slide? Then maybe the anitmated text is on the
master, go to view - master - slide master and see if you can delete it
there. If not, can you see the text on the slide in edit mode, then it
should be easy to select it and delete it.

The text is visible in Edit and I can now Delete it. That's great! Thank You
