Deleting programs from loading at start

I went to run, msconfig, startup and found the programs that load at start.
The problem is, I have no idea what they are, and I don't want to mess
anything up. Is there a way to find out what all these things are?

Go to SysInternals and download their "AutoRuns" application.
It will show you in much greater detail what runs and the app or
service it belongs to.
