deleting past words/phrases used in IE textboxes?

aptsai

I am wondering how to delete the files that are
responsible for past words/ phrases used in a input text
box on any given webpage.

For example. I go to Google and type in "k" in the
search text box and 3 phrases come up in a scrolling box
beginning with "K" that I frequently serached for. How
do you delete this from IE's memory?

thanks,

You need to go to your IE Settings under Tools>Internet Options> Content
Tab.
1. Select the Autocomplete button toward bottom, in the Personal Information
section.
2. Select the "clear forms" button after selecting from the three options of
what to clear.
You can select to not have autocomplete for these, or at least forms.

Hope this helps, thanks.
