deleting files from cd

I deleted some files from a RW CD, but the deleted files did not go into
the Recycle Bin. They just vanished from the CD. Is that usually the case?

Yes. Only files on local hard disks go into the Recycle Bin, since the folder for it is actually on the hard disks. Floppies, USB keys and CD-RW/DVD-RW media, network drives.......... files on those are history.

Yes. However you might be able to recover deleted files from a CD-RW using
special third party software. Here is a program that I've used in the past
that has worked for this http://www.naltech.com/
