Deleting Duplicate E-mails?

B

bob

Hello,

I while ago I exported all my e-mail to a .pst. I finally
got around to importing it, and somehow the .pst has 2
instances of each of my e-mails. I told it to not import
duplicates but the same thing still happened. Is there a
way I can make Outlook go through all my e-mails and
automatically delete the duplicates? I woudl do it
manually but there are hundreds.

Thanks

Unfortunately Outlook does not have a way to go through and remove
duplicate e-mails automatically. The only way to accomplish this is to
manually remove them yourself.

I have found some third part apps which attempt this but in most instances completely ruin your pst file. It would be a REALLY useful feature if the boffins at MSFT could write a powertool of some sort to accomidate users who through a process of constant upgrade wind up with dupes.
