Deleting Causes Outlook fails and restarts

I have upgraded both windows and office and that did correct a few things,
but now when I delete one or many messages (from any folder) I get that
lovely ". . .encountered and error . . . do you want to send . . ." message.
Outlook then shuts down and either restarts or not depending on the selection
I made. Help

What have you upgraded from? 2000/XP ? , It might be that you have a corrupt
upgrade, try running detect and repair from the help menu in outlook.
