Deleting a Top Menu Bar item?

How do I delete a non-Microsoft menu item from
Word 2003's top menu bar? I've tried deleting
it via Tools > Custom but it doesn't show. It must
be in a file buried in a common file.

In searching for a way to migrate Word files
to a Palm handheld, I first tried an desktop/palm
app known as "Quickword". It installed a top menu
bar time "Quickword" to the right of the Help
item.

Recently switched to DataViz's Documents-To-Go.
Its premium version not only migrates Word files,
but it synchronizes Outlook email, too.

Deleted the QuickWord app, but it obviously
didn't uninstall cleanly. I'm left with the useless
menu item, and useless QuickWord 3-4 macros.
I've tried deleting the macros but nothing shows
in the Organizer. Weird.

I can't imagine how this oddball menu item
still hooks into Word. I migrated from Word97
to Word 2003.

It installed an add-in. Uninstall the Quickword app. or remove the add-in
from the Word or Office startup folder.
