Deleting a Network Location

I set up a network location to a shared folder on my network. It would only
work occasionally, letting me view and edit files on my computer but not
saving them to the remote computer. To try and fix this problem I unchecked
"always available offline" for the folder, which has resulted in a state
where I can't access the folder on the other computer, can't access the
changed files that were available offline on my computer, and can't alter or
delete the network location. Specifically, in My Computer right clicking on
the network location causes the window to freeze. When I double click on the
network location, it appears to be loading, but never finishes and ultimately
also freezes the window. Clicking on the icon and pressing the delete or
backspace buttons, or dragging the icon to the recycle bin, do not work.
Being connected or disconnected from the network has no effect. Does anyone
have suggestions for how to fix this problem?
