Subject: Deleteing Cookies in all folders

On "Windows 2000 Professional"
I know using "IE - Tools\Internet Options\General(tab)
\Delete Cookies..." button will delete all "cookies"
from "C:\WINNT\Profiles\(username)\Cookies\*.*".
BUT, what is the path "C:\WINNT\COOKIES\*.*" used for? I
have "*.DAT" files in there that a new "cleaning" software
wants to delete - should I delete the file in this folder?
Thanks,
Hank
