#Deleted

I have a record in one table on my database with #Deleted in every field. I
have tried to delete the record in table datasheet view but when I open the
table again, I see the #Deleted. I have looked at linked tables, but cannot
find where any other related value is. I am using MS Access. I have
verified that I am the only user on the db.

Any suggestions. It seems to be affecting a screen which uses that table in
a selection step.

At times like this, nothing beats a good backup. In fact make a complete
backup of your database now and put it away for safe keeping.

The table and, therefore, database are corrupt. Probably the easiest thing
to do, after doing a complete backup of your database files, is a simple
compact and repair. Often that will fix it.

For more info on corruption issues, check out the following:

Tony Toews has an excellent web page on database corruption.

Allen Brown also has excellent info on corruption.

I have a white paper in a Word document named Fix Corrupt Access Database
towards the bottom this page:

Thank you. That solved the problem. There was still a remnant of the record
in the table after the compact and repair, but I was able to delete it and
the issue with the combo box lookup is resolved.
