#Deleted keeps appearing in one of my table records

No matter how many times, I can delete that record untill I turn purple fall
over and die, but it just keeps coming back. And... do to the shear stupidity
of all search engine creaters known to the planet earth I cant find
#Deleted(For help) anywhere because every single search engine removes the
"#" and only searches for "Deleted".

Someone please help me, the US Air Force Depends on it! This false "#Deleted
#Deleted #Deleted #Deleted" had destroyed our report capability and it causes
errors when running reports, "The record has been deleted."

Did you repair/compact the database?
What version of Access are you using?
Is this a linked table from an SQL server?

Oh and I can't change it, I can hold down a key and it just gives the
"Windows is retarted and can not figure it out" ding instead of inserting
text.

I managed into forcing it to admit it was wrong. I did a search in a field
that has a input mask for date, but Access is so Hell< on trying to Place
#Delete in there it said the Value was not valid for this field and hung at
100% CPU usage because Access is mad that me, the Human, proved it wrong!

I managed to delete all of the ticket numbers and now I get:

Unrecognized database format <filename>. (Error 3343)
Possible causes:

The specified file name is not a Microsoft Jet database.
The specified file name is a device name, for example, a printer or a
console.
The .mdb file has invalid header information or an unknown sort order.
A commit is pending from another user but the lock file cannot be found.
During a commit, you are attempting to write a Long value larger than the 2K
maximum page size.
The database is damaged. Compact the database and then try opening it again.

Now its really pissed, lol this is fun turturing the computer...

Hi Mark, I am not sure if you have solved this yet. You should be careful with
the use of the #, this is a wildcard for retrieving numbers 0 - 9. If you
want to retrieve the # itself, I think you need to enclose it as [#].

First of all, try to calm down.
Second, if (hopefully) possible, revert to a backup of the database
that does not have the "unrecognized database format" error.
Third, follow all instructions at this link (Access 2002 and later)

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q283849

For Access 2000, use this link:

I finally gave in, did compact and repair, it still destroyed all of my data
sheets, but no moree"#Deleted", and after trying all of the available options
for Child and Master fields between the comments and ticket number I was able
to get it to look the way it used too. I would like to figure out next why it
thinks the database is replicated when it does not show the yellow circle
dealy next to the tables. I want to prevent further problems by disallowing
duplicate entries but it seems to think it is replicated when I set "Indexed
(No Duplicate values)" for the Ticket number properties field. The #Deleted
thing is apparently a bug with the version of microsoft JET(3.0) we are
using. But since they woulden't allow me to install the 4.0 version due to
security/account limitations, I had to craft my own workaround the hard way.
Sometimes Access can be like breaking in a wild colt, lol.

Thanks for the search tip Mary I will have to remember that one.
