Deleted ipod songs

My daughter was trying to delete a few songs from her ipod, and deleted ALL
of the songs from her Win XP computer by mistake. She is distraught.
She has not used her computer since the "incident".
Is there some way I can recover these files?

I believe I read an article about retrieving songs from the actual ipod and placing them back on the computer, at least, if I am reading your post right she still has them on the ipod, just not the computer. Anyway try this site and see if it helps. I know the feeling well.
