When I am delete files, they do not go to RECYCLE BIN.

Hi,

Check the Norton Protected Bin settings if you are using that feature.

Otherwise, you either have the Recycle Bin set to bypass (right click it and
check properties to find out), or you may have a stuck <shift> key on the
keyboard, as shift+delete will bypass the Recycle Bin. Try rapping them both
to loosen them up if this is a possibility.

Get Norton System Destroyer completely off of your system. Then get and
install NOD32 http://www.eset.com , and Pefect Disk http://www.raxco.com .
These programs work far better than any Symantec product and do not bog down
your system; and who the hell needs a protected recycle bin anyway, how lame
is that?

Actually the Norton Protected Bin has saved me a few times in the past
when I deleted something I didnt really want to delete.

Well look my good man, if you delete something it goes into the Recycle Bin,
and you can restore it from there. Why would you need a recycle bin for the
recycle bin? Just don't do any unconditional deletes (Shift - key + Delete
(key or mouse)). I had Norton Protected Recycle Bin for years, but it uses
way too much space and frequently corrupts the Recycle Bin (turning into a
regular folder) where you have to work it out at a DOS level in order to fix
it...but Norton just eventually breaks it again. The overhead also isn't
worth it creating more problems than it is worth.
