Deleted DC caused Logon Failure

K

One of our W2K DC failed this weekend. There were no
Operations Roles running on it. However, I just deleted
the server from the Active Directory and now I get the
following error whenever I try to access a share on
another DC:

Logon Failure: The target account name is incorrect.

Any help is appreciated.

After you've run the metadata cleanup, check your DNS _msdcs records so it
doesn't have any references to your old DC to make sure it's completely
gone.
