Delete tif folder

N

Nick

Running XP Home using NTFS. It seems that my Temporary Internet Files folder
is damaged as the entries in the folder are no longer automatically deleted
when IE is closed. I am aware that in Windows 98 I can go into DOS and
delete the folder through the deltree tempor~1 command. How do I delete this
folder in NTFS. If there is a way could you please be specific as I am
obviously a novice.
Thank you

Try a tool such as EasyCleaner to force deletion of the files:

Or, you can move the location of the folder in IE. Go to Tools>Internet
Options and in the TIF area, you will see a "Settings" button. You can click
on this to move the folder to another partition/drive or another folder.
