Windows XP Delete CR/LF from text file

Hi Experts,
I want to delete Carriage Return /Line Feed in a text file. For this i want to write a DOS batch file. I'm not able to find any clue on this . If you experts had faced this problem earlier then please help me in writing the batch file. Any help would be highly appericated.
