Delete Calendar folder in PST?

I am diverting all my incoming email to a local PST. A couple of weeks
ago, I changed the settings so that when Outlook starts, it goes
straight to that PST, instead of my regular Mailbox.

However, this created a Calendar folder [and a Tasks folder] in that
PST. I don't want that Calendar folder, as I have to manage now two
calendars [one in my regular Exchange mail a/c, and the one in my PST].
Outlook does not allow me to delete that Calender folder.

Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

Hi jdv

If the PST files is your default folder (and it seems it is your default
folder), you can not delete the default folders in a PST file.

If you would change your Exchange account mailbox as the default mailbox,
you can delete the calendar in the PST but you would not recieve your emails
in the PST.

Oliver,
Thanks for your note! However, my email is still being delivered from
the Exchange Server into my regular Inbox, and the other compulsory
folders [e.g. Journal, etc] are not being created in my PST. This all
started when I went to Options > Other > Advanced Options > Startup in
this folder > and chose MyPST.
I am getting all my email into my PST because I have a rule cleaning
out my Exchange account mailbox, not because my PST is my default
mailbox. This is what baffles me ... !
