delete a relationship

I created a relationship between two tables, then I
decided to delete this relationship.

And I follow the normal procedure - closed both table,
click on the link on relationship - but I couldn't delete
this relationship because the delete function on both
tool bar and right click it are grey out. Can any one
show me to delete this relationship, thank you.

If these are linked tables, you need to open the file that contains the
actual tables in order to delete the relation.

If that's not the issue, it is possible that this is an Access 97 file
that's been opened in Access 2000 or 2002? If so, you can't make structural
changes without converting to the later version.
