Delegating Control

K

Kyle

I thought it would be MSExchHideFromAddressLists, but
this does not work. I can not find showinAddressList
option (or any "showin..." options for that matter).

thanks,
Kyle

Kyle-

Show/Hide from GAL is showinAddressList I believe (it's
showIn Something or
other, I know).

As for delegating disable only, no ... the AccountControl
property holds
disable and a bunch of other stuff.

What properties do I need to allow to give a user the
authority to select and deselect the "hide from exchange
address lists" checkbox under the Exchange Advanced tab?
Also, is there a way I can only grant the "Disable
Account" option (and not all the other account options),
while delgating control in AD 2003?

thanks,
Kyle

Kyle,

Aside from using ADSIEDIT, you can see this parameter when you have ADUC
(active directory users and computers) running an exchange 200 server BUT
you must pick the ADVANCED view.

There is a checkbox in the exchange advanced which is marked Hide from
Address lists.

When you do an ldifde export, you can see this field as well as the
including in the following address list parameter.
