DeInterlacing Captured Video

S

stefan

I've noticed that when I capture video using MM2, the video is interlaced.
Is there a way to deinterlace the video as I capture it?? If not during
capture, is there a way to deinterlace the video after it's captured??

BTW, I'm trying to capture the video in DV-AVI format. And I've already
looked at PapaJohn's web site and didn't find anything there...

All and all help is greatly appreciated,
stefan

Hey Stefan,

The video is automatically deinterlaced if you capture into wmv. When
capturing to DV-AVI we preserve the interlacing. If you add the DV-AVI file
to your Movie Maker timeline and save it out to wmv, Movie Maker will
deinterlace it.
