Defrag error

Hello,

I'm using a Windows XP SP2 box and getting this error when I run a defrag:

FILES THAT CANNOT BE DEFRAGMENTED
\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-583907252-651377827-725345543-1118\DC43.TMP

I have show hidden files selected however when I go to that folder, there is
nothing there to delete. How can I resolve this?

Thank you.

RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-583907252-651377827-725345543-1118 is your Recycle Bin.

The Recycler folder contains a Recycle Bin for each user that logs on to the
computer, sorted by their security identifier (SID).
S-1-5-21-583907252-651377827-725345543-1118 is your SID.

DC43.TMP is a deleted file, D stands for Deleted. 43 shows that it is the
43rd file deleted from C:

[[No files may appear in the Recycle Bin if the files in the Recycled folder
are damaged.]]

Run Error Checking. Reboot. Try to empty the Recycle Bin again.

Error Checking (chkdsk.exe).
1. In My Computer or Windows Explorer, right-click the drive you want to
check, and then click Properties.
2. On the Tools tab, click Check Now.
3. Select both of these:

o Automatically fix file system errors
o Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors

You have to reboot for Error-checking to run.

For a look at the chkdisk log.
Open the Event Viewer...
Start | Run | Type: eventvwr | OK
