Definition update 1.14.1353.2 for Windows Defender Beta (KB915597)

For the last two months of updates, Critical Security updates for XP, Office
XP, & Windows Defender Beta have failed to iinstall after successful
downloads. After raodblocking with numerous failed retries, I jotted down the
KB123456 numbers of each update on a piece of scratchpaper, hunted each one
individually on microsoft.com downloads, and installed each one by one
succesfully. The newest update for download shows a a definition update for
WinDefend Beta but microsoft.com downloads fails to recognize this in its
list. This file does not even list in KB123456 number search. Did the Bill
Gates supertechs fail home consumers in this one?

You're going to need to fix the root issue with Windows Update, I think.

I definitely applaud your persistence in getting these updates by that
method, but it won't work for Windows Defender definition updates. The KB
article should be there--not sure what is happening with that, but it
doesn't link to the update.
