Hi, I really need help on this one. I had defender working ok until I tried
to upgrade to beta 2 then disaster. It wont install and Iv'e lost my original
defender and get 2 error messages 0x80070663 and 0x80240016. can anybody help
please.

I think I need more information:

You were on beta1.

You received notice to update to beta2, and downloaded and ran the
installer. This apparently successfully removed beta1, Microsoft
Antispyware? Does that no longer appear in add or remove programs?

However, Beta2, Windows Defender, is not yet successfully installed?

When do you see these error messages?
