Default printer changes

I am running Windows XP SP1. I have several network printers mapped to my
machine. I just installed a HP Officejet 7300 all in one through a USB
Cable. I have the default printer set to HP 4000. But everytime I re-boot
the system, the default printer changes to the 7300. I have removed and
re-installed the 7300, but no luck.
Any ideas, anyone, HP Was not able to resolve it either!!!!

Thanks

Harry

Make sure the printer set as default the power is turned on and the other
printer is off. Usually due to other peripheralls being installed, the
all-in-one
printer will activate. You can disable all printers from starting/loading
in the
startup so that it will only activate the default one when you start to
print. Go to:
Start>run>type MSCONFIG and press OK. Click the startup tab and disable both
of your printers listed, press Apply and Close. Reboot. Good luck. :~)
