Default mail handler problem

I'm using Outlook Express 6.0. When clicking an e-mail address in an e-mail,
I get 60+ IE windows opening up. Checking options in Express I see that it
is not set as the default mail handler. I change it and it seems to take, but
coming back in, it has been reset again (not to be the default). The
registry has the two entries I've seen mentioned in other posts and they seem
to be OK. Any ideas? Thanks Mark

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
