default invitation calendar

When I go to the calendar and click on Actions without clicking into one of
the side-by-side calendars, the resulting meeting invite will come from my
boss's calendar and I'd like it to come from mine. Isn't there a checkbox
that creates that setting. I thought it may be a default issue, but I
believe mine is the default.

Appointments and meetings are creating the calendar that is selected or has
focus. You'll need to select your calendar before creating the meeting
request. Appointments can be moved using the Move to folder command instead
of Save and close button.

Surely it must be possible to set which is the default calendar to have the focus when you switch to calendar view? It's not logical for a shared calendar to have the default focus rather than my own!
