Default font in FP 2003

Michael

When I set the Default font to be Tahoma......The 'Design' Page view shows a
Tahoma font in Sans Serif, however,

The 'Preview' Page View shows this font in a 'Serif' ??? (Yes I've saved and
reopened the page)

However, When I select all my text in 'Design' View and force it to 'Tahoma'
font - again - (i.e. overriding the Default Tahoma) and then go to 'Preview'
it all looks sans serif as it should.

There appears to be two Tahoma's one sans serif and one serif or
something????

what am I missing here?

The default font setting only applies to how you see the page in Normal/Design View in FP. It
doesn't write any font tags to your page, so you pages will use the browser's default font settings.

You must assign fonts to all text either using the FP Font menu or via CSS for it to be displayed in
browsers. Also fonts will only display that are already installed on a visitor's PC, etc.
