default contacts for word using outlook 02

I am trying to print on envelope with Word 02 (XP) using Envelpoes and Lables
wizard, and should be able to use oulook 02 (XP) address book. I only have
the message of "No entries in this address book" when selecting Outlook, when
I use the drop down to select the sub menu of 'contacts' I get the same
message in the contact area, when I try to selcet 'properties' Work errors
out.
the information in the error signature is AppName: winword.exe AppVer:
10.0.6754.0 ModName: schdmapi.dll
ModVer: 9.1.2318.0 Offset: 00016abb

Make sure Outlook is your default mail program and that you've configured
the Outlook Address Book correctly:
