Default Account Pictures

Steve M.

New installation of WinXP Pro shows blank picture box
with 'X' when customizing User Accounts. The "Pick a new
picture for your account" provides no pictures to choose
from, however all the normal pictures ARE located in
the "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\Default Pictures\"
directory..

Is this a registry issue? If it is, how do I fix it??

TIA!

Hi Steve,

Have you disabled Picture and Fax Viewer? If so, go to Start/Run and type
in: regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

Dunno, Steve. If this is happening other places as well:

To verify your version, go to Start/Run and type in: wjview

MS JVM Version 3809

MS JVM Version 3810

Once 3809 is installed you can get the Update 3810 - 816093 or use the link
