dec 30 showing up as week no 53

[hockey is fun]

dec 30 2007 is showing up in week 53 but there is no week 53 in 2007. i have
set the extra varialbles to indicate sunday as the first day of the week and
the first week of the year with 4 days. does anyone else have this problem.

yeah, hockey is fun!!

Well to solve your problem try this:

MsgBox Format(#12/30/2007#, "ww", , 3)

In this way you specify to count as first week the first full week of the
year and december, 30 2007 will be counted in the 52nd week

where i work, week 1 is from dec 30 2007 to jan 5 2008 so i used 1,2 which i
thought would give me dec 30 as week 1. i don't understand why dec 31 is in
week 1 but dec 30 is not when i have told access that i what sunday as my
starting day.
