"debug assertion failed"?

I've upgraded to IE6, but whenever I try to do a search, or
manually type in a website, I immediately get a message
saying "debug assertion failed", with choices to retry,
abort, or ignore. When I choose one of them, I eventually
get a message saying that IE will shut down - under
details, it references that there is an error relating to
isnsys.dll. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the tip - that does definitely seem to be what
it is, but the next problem is that I can't get rid of it.
I have current Norton virus protection, but that doesn't
recognize it as a virus, and I can't manually delete it - I
keep getting messages saying that its in use. Any ideas?
