DATE $ TIME FIELD ERRORS

Hi Everyone,
I have just developed a small Access program on my PC (using Windows XP with
XP Developer installed on it. I packaged the program and completed a set-up
on another PC that also uses Windows XP.
I have noticed that the Date and Time fields in the other PC show #Name?,
and error message for date or time fields that had been defaulted to Date()
and Time(): "Function is not available in expression in table-level
validation expression." After the message, the date that is entered would
then be accepted. This came as a surprise to me because there was no error on
my PC. What could have gone wrong?
2. How do I remove or disable the menu bar (file, edit, records etc)?

Here is somenting I got from Fred in a previous post
You computer may have a missing reference.

Open any module in Design view (or click Ctrl + G).
On the Tools menu, click References.
Click to clear the check box for the type library or object library
marked as "Missing:."

An alternative to removing the reference is to restore the referenced
file to the path specified in the References dialog box. If the
referenced file is in a new location, clear the "Missing:" reference
and create a new reference to the file in its new folder.

See Microsoft KnowledgeBase articles:
283115 'ACC2002: References That You Must Set When You Work with
Microsoft Access'
Or for Access 97:
175484 'References to Set When Working With Microsoft Access' for
the correct ones needed,
and
160870 'VBA Functions Break in Database with Missing References' for
how to reset a missing one.

There are no missing references in the Access on my PC, and none on the
foreign PC that elicited the problem. I unstalled the Access on the foreign
PC to see if it was conflicting with the Access Runtime that installed with
the program but the problem is still there.

Hi,
I am still having this the problem; I have checked the references, and there
are no missing references, on both PCs. In fact, should the issue of
references come up in the "foreign" PC since it will be running on Access
Runtime that was included by the Packaging Wizard? I am really confused about
this stuff.
Please help.
