Date/Time doesn't work when copying DB

pc = Access 2003 on MS-XP platform

I created a database on a pc that has the current Date and Time displayed
with each record. My problem is when I try to copy the db from the pc over
to a laptop (Access 2003 on MS-2000 Pro. platform) via memory stick, the date
and time expression doesn't work. Instead #date? and #time? is displayed in
the text box and I get the following error message: "unknown function 'Date'
in validation expression or default value on 'ACCESS LOG. Table_date'." Can
you tell me what I need to do to fix this?

Is the data stored in a DateTime field or text field?

Did you name your data field DATE?

It sounds as if you have a References error. See this link for information
