Date format for Track Changes

S

Stuart K

Hi everyone,

When I have a document with Track Changes information,
currently if I rollover a change I get the date of the
change in American format (month/day/year). Can I change
this? I want the standard UK format (day/month/year).

The odd thing is, i'm pretty sure i'm set up using a UK
dictionary and UK settings (also my global computer
regional settings are all UK based). So, i'm not sure
what's going on. This is driving me nuts!! Also, is
there any way to change the date format to something more
friendly (e.g. Mon 2nd July instead of 02/0604).

Help much appreciated,
Stu

Hi Stuart,

I'm looking at Word 2003 on WinXP with UK set as my
"Regional Input Language". (My other regional settings are
Swiss German BTW) I see 13/06/2004 - UK format matching the
input language formatting, IOW.
