Datasheet Background Color Change

I posted this in forms days ago and have gotten no response. Any ideas here?

I have a datasheet which lists out a varying number of rows. The first rows
have one value in a field (judge name), the second set of rows has a second
value (judge1 name) and so on. Is there a way to change the background color
for each section within the datasheet?

well, if you're assigning the BackColor based on the value in a field, you
could set Conditional Formatting for each control in the form, based on that
fieldvalue. but that's only going to work for up to three values, and you
need to know what the three possible values are when you set up the
formatting.

other than that, i don't know of any way to control the backcolor of
specific records, or fields, in a datasheet - only the datasheet backcolor
as a whole.
