Database menu won't load while pressing down shift key

Hi,

The tried to bypass the startup form by holding down the shift key, and when
I do that. Database won't show the database menus (design and edit
tables/queries/reports). I know the database is loaded because I can see the
name of the file on the top left hand corner and I have access to the menu
bars (eg/ file, edit, views).

Any body know how to fix it?

It is likely that someone didn't want you to use the Shift key to bypass the
Startup and set the Application's AllowBypassKey property to False. You may
be change the Application.AllowBypassKey property to True from another
database or from VB code. (If the database is in .MDE file format, you still
can't change much about the database even if you get the Database window.)
