Data Error Cyclic Redundancy Check

MJM

When I try and copy files from a DVD-RAM that I created
onto my hard drive I get the following error: "Data Error -
Cyclic Redundancy Check" and am unable to copy the file
(It is ca. 4 Gb in size). There is loads of room on my HDD.

Can anybody help?

This seems to indicate an error reading the optical media.
Make sure the disk is free of fingerprints . Is the disk
scratched? Download a program called isobuster and see if that
is able to read it.
