Damaged profile

Today I tried signing onto a Win2000 PC and got a message saying my profile
could be damaged or corrupt and a temporary profile would be used. This is
the Administrator account. Is there a way to fix my profile? I was able to
create a new administrator level account that works fine. Is there a way to
fix the profile?

Log on under the new admin account, then rename the old
admin profile. It's in "C:\documents and settings". A new
profile will be created for you.

About your second admin account: You were lucky you
were able to create it. You should never have just one of
them, same as you never have just one set of keys for
your car, for obvious reasons!
