"D" drive disappeared...

Nothing of any signifcance happened... just logged on and th
"D" drive was not there any more. Device manager sees it
and says it is working properly; however, when I go to "m
computer" it is not there, and I cannot access any of the file
on it. This drive has been working fine since I installed it, about
months ago. It is a Maxtor 80G. Running XP home.

Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
