Cut and paste

The cut and paste function no longer works from my keyboard in Word "03. It
still works fine if I use my mouse. It doesn't work with the laptop keyboard
either. The Copy, cut, and paste functions using the control key works fine
in all other applications so it is obviously something wrong with Word. It
used to work well and I can't find any changes in any of the settings. I use
Word 2003 solely for text entry and editing, no graphics, design, web
applications, etc.

Choose Tools - Customize - Keyboard, and click in the Press new shortcut key
field. Press each of the the shortcut keys you're /missing/ and see if the
EditCopy, EditPaste, and EditCut commands appear under the Current keys: box
(should say "Currently assigned to: ...".)

....and I'm assuming you've rebooted since the problem began?
