Customizing Details View

Within a folder, I would like to be able to view the Comments that I type in
a file's properties. I know that I can do this by going to View...Select
Details and then checking Comments. But this displays my comments in the
right hand side of the folder along with every other detail checked. I would
like to display the details upon clicking on a file in the Activity Center on
the left side of the folder window. Currently the Details submenu on the
Activity Center displays the file's name, file type, date modified, size and
author. In Windows 2000 it was possible to display the Comments for that
file in this area. I've been searching and found this article online
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/fileprop.htm which discusses my question but on the
Microsoft site it doesn't provide an option to add the Comments...only the
Summary, Keywords, etc. which are all character limited. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

If you hover your pointer over the left edge of the column header it will
change to a drag pointer. Hold down your LMB and drag the column to the
left, it will jump over the columns next to it after they have been squeezed
to their minimum so you'll prob have to resize them.
