Customized Logon Screen for Windows Vista

In Windows 2000/XP there is a registry key called LogonPrompt
(HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon\LogonPrompt)
where a message text is displayed in the logon window. Same key under
Windows Vista is not working as expected. (I don't want to use the GPO
setting "Interactive
logon: Message title for users attempting to log on")

Any idea?

Why don't you post your question to a Vista group. Via newsreader:
